The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the main reasons why most tourists visit Tanzania. It is home to the largest concentration of animals in Africa, including the Big Five. Lake Manyara, one of the lovely minor parks, is well-known for its breathtaking beauty, flamingo-filled soda lake, and abundant birdlife. Tarangire National Park, the elephant kingdom, will be the final stop on your safari. The steep scenery, with gigantic Baobab trees against a blue sky, is stunning.
This personalized safari allows you to travel at your own leisure, just the way you prefer it. You will get a private safari vehicle and guide.
As you exit Kilimanjaro International Airport, your personal Tanzania Specialist guide welcomes you with a warm smile: 'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' The tour brings you straight to your accommodation, where you can rest and soak up the African environment. The next day, your guide will take you on an exclusive, private safari where you can travel at your own speed. Tarangire National Park is well-known for its large elephant herds and abundance of massive baobab trees. These trees can live for hundreds of years and provide as a source of water for elephants during the dry season, as they have a unique mechanism for drawing water from them. Furthermore, the Tarangire River is the only supply of water during the dry season, which is why at Tarangire you can witness groups of up to 250 elephants alongside many other animals!
Lake Manyara National Park is located between Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater, along the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. The park's diverse settings attract a wide range of wildlife. You may, for example, explore the lake, walk through a deep jungle filled with hundreds of monkeys and birds, view elephants up close in the woods, and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool, where hippos bathe from early morning until late evening.
The famed Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's seven natural wonders. A massive volcano erupted two million years ago, causing the crater to develop. The fertile lava has formed a unique environment that currently supports the highest population of species in Africa! Thousands of animals surround you in the crater, including lions, zebras, buffalos, and black rhinos, and the vistas are breathtaking.
