You will travel to the famous grasslands of the vast Serengeti on this amazing safari vacation in Tanzania. Although the Serengeti is home to a wide variety of species, the Great Wildebeest Migration is without a doubt its primary attraction. Visit the unique Ngorongoro Crater, a natural wonder with the highest concentration of species in the world, to round out your journey.
Your expert safari guide will drive your own 4×4 during this 7-day private Tanzanian safari, giving you the freedom to go at your own speed and in the manner of your choice. Our team of Tanzania travel specialists has personally selected the hotels and safari lodges for this tour.
'Karibu Tanzania - welcome to Tanzania!' your personal guide says with a broad smile as you exit Kilimanjaro International Airport. You are taken directly to your accommodation by the guide, where you may unwind and enjoy the African ambience. Your guide takes you on a private, exclusive safari the following day, letting you go at your own speed. Savor the comforts of your personal safari vehicle and feel free to pause and observe the wildlife for as long as you wish!
Lake Manyara National Park is located between Tarangire National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater, alongside the 400-meter-deep Great Rift Valley. The park's environments are diverse, attracting a wide range of creatures. You can, for example, explore the lake, walk through a deep rainforest with hundreds of monkeys and birds, view elephants up close in the woods, and visit the renowned Manyara hippo pool, where many hippos bathe from early morning until late evening.
Due in large part to the Great Migration that travels through the Serengeti National Park, it is well recognized as a safari destination. The sheer number of predators that inhabit this area—more than 4,000 lions, 225 cheetahs, 1,000 leopards, 3500 hyenas, and hundreds of wild dogs—is as astonishing as the massive, stampeding herds! Naturally, there are many more stunning creatures that your guide will be happy to look for with you. Are you prepared for this?
Among Africa's seven natural wonders is the well-known Ngorongoro Crater. Two million years ago, a massive volcano erupted, creating the crater. There are now more creatures in this special ecosystem than anyplace else in Africa thanks to the fertile lava! The sights are breathtaking as you enter the crater and are surrounded by thousands of animals, including buffalos, zebras, black rhinos, and lions.
The final day! Before our driver drives you to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your trip home, you can unwind in the lodge for a little while longer, depending on when your departure is. Are you reconsidering? You can even extend your vacation by a few days by visiting one of Tanzania's magnificent islands, such Mafia, Pemba, or Zanzibar!
