We will pick you up in a clean, air-conditioned car in the morning from your accommodation in Moshi or Arusha, or when you arrive at the Kilimanjaro or Arusha airports, and transport you a short distance to Maasai village. The Maasai people reside in tiny, mud-thatched huts that are encircled by their cattle and other smaller animals. The Maasai have lived a nomadic existence on these Tanzanian plains for hundreds of years. The Maasai people reside in tiny, mud-thatched huts that are encircled by their cattle and other smaller animals. The Maasai have lived a nomadic existence on these Tanzanian plains for hundreds of years. A meeting with these Maasai people is a highlight of your safari vacation or Kilimanjaro ascent. To get a close-up look at their culture and way of life, several tribal villages invite tourists. You will have a unique chance to interact with the Maasai community on this day tour. You can experience many traditional aspects of Maasai life in the village. The Maasai themselves plan and organize all of the visits; you can walk with their cattle on the plains and learn about their traditional dance, beads, fire-making, ornaments, bush skills, and medicine.
You continue your journey to the Chemka/Kikuletwa Hot Springs after visiting Maasai village. We will have lunch when we get to the hot springs, which is about a forty-minute ride that includes some rocky terrain. You may spend a lovely afternoon whatever you like, whether it's swimming, talking with locals at the small bar, or just lounging in the sun. We depart from the hot springs in the late afternoon, right before nightfall, and arrive at your hotel in Moshi or Arusha in a comfortable manner. Note: bring flip-flops, towels, and swimming attire.
The majority of our time will be spent in the vicinity of Mount Kilimanjaro, which may increase the likelihood that we will view and capture quality images of the mountain.
