This Safari is designed special for clients who want to experience the real test of adventures and stay closer to wildlife while considering the budget by avoiding all sort of common town needs. It includes travelling with driver guide and professional cook. You will be travelling with your mobile tents which will be fixed on the ground on your arrival to the require public campsite according to your itinerary. Most of public campsite may not have hot shower in comparison to all category of lodge safari. All bathroom facilities are shared and is well cleaned and maintained.

Arrive in Tanzania

You will be picked up at the Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to Arusha town, at Masailand hotel. You will meet your driver guide who will brief you on your upcoming safaris, then rest until the next day morning.

Day 1: ARUSHA – TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK

  • Non game-viewing travel time: 1:40hours
  • Distance: 110.33km

After breakfast, your driver/guide, will be ready at your hotel to pick you head into the Tarangire National Park for a game drive. The park has great landscapes including plain known as small Serengeti, Tarangire river which act as major magnet for animals during dry season. Its natural vegetation mainly consists of Acacia woodland and giant African Baobab trees, with huge swamp areas in the south. The Tarangire National Park is reputed to contain some of the largest elephant herds in Africa. This African national park is also home to three rare species of animals – the Greater Kudu, the Fringed-eared Oryx, as well as a few Ashy Starlings. The park also offers large number of Buffaloes, Zebras, Wildebeest, Giraffes, Lions, Cheetah, Leopards, Impalas, Gazelles, warthogs, and wild dogs which are occasional seen. The park is also enriched with birds with more than 400 species. During the lunch hour we will stop at picnic site for lunch and continue with game drive until evening when we drive to the camp for overnight. Dinner and overnight at Tarangire Campsite.

Day 2:TARANGIRE – SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

  • Distance: 242 km.

After breakfast we exit Tarangire and head towards the Serengeti National Park, via the beautiful high lying farmland of Karatu and the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Leaving the highlands behind, we descend into the heart of wild Africa – the Serengeti National Park – with its endless plains, rolling into the distance as far as the eye can see. We head to the central park area, known as the Seronera area, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River, which provides a valuable water source to this area and therefore attracts wildlife well representative of most of the Serengeti’s species. We arrive in time for lunch and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the Serengeti national park. Dinner and overnight at Tumbili public camps

Day 3 - 4:SERENGETI

  • These two days will be spent on a game drive in the Serengeti. The areas that you visit will depend upon where the migrating herds are (predators usually follow closely behind the trekking animals). During the short rainy season in November and December the herds move from the hills in the north to the plains in the south. During the longer rainy season from April to June they return up centra Serengeti, while in July to October they are in North Serengeti. The yearly trek is determined by the rainfalls and the location of the herds might vary from year to year but your guide will know where to find the animals and where to see them best. Apart from wildebeests and zebras you will also spot predators such as lions, leopards and cheetahs as well as all big fives. You will have enough time to venture the Serengeti park with its heart Seronera river or grumeti river depends on the location you are in.

Day 5:SERENGETI - NGORONGORO CARTER

After breakfast we continue with game drive until lunch time. After lunch we head to Ngorongoro for overnight. On the way we can experience the Maasai traditional life and experience a little bit of these cultural people lives in the Ngorongoro conservations. Dinner and overnight at Simba Campsite 

Day 6:NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA/JRO

  • Non game-viewing travel time: 3 hours
  • Distance:181.21 km.

After early breakfast we will descend over 600 meters into the crater for a game drive for a half day’s safari tour. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, the Ngorongoro National Park supports a vast variety of animals, which include herds of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and giant African elephants. Another big draw card to this picturesque national park, its dense population of predators, which include lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the ever-elusive leopard, which sometimes requires a trained eye to spot. This is only the pack that you can see easily black Rhino than any other park. We will visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is one of the main features of the crater and act as home for flamingos and hippos. Apart from animal, the park has most wonderful landscape and its very beautiful caldera park. We will have lunch in the picnic site. In the afternoon, after lunch we depart the create and drive back to Arusha. Hotel is Bed & Breakfast basis.
