This 6-day Tanzania Luxury Safari Holiday allows you to explore the incredible natural treasures of Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Lake Manyara National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater.
Lake Manyara National Park offers an amazing experience in some of Northern Tanzania’s most diverse natural ecosystems, including pure streams, lush woods, and towering mountains. Tarangire is also well-known for its large giraffe herds and African elephants! The Serengeti’s magnificent wildebeest migration and boundless savannah plains have earned the park recognition as one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders. In addition, the Serengeti is an ideal location for silent introspection. The Ngorongoro Crater also has an abundance of enormous African fauna and unusual plants in the only unbroken caldera on Earth.
You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transported to Moshi. You will meet your driving guide, who will brief you on your future safaris, before resting until the next morning.
After your great breakfast, prepare for your 6 Days Tanzania Luxury Safari, in which we will depart from Moshi in the morning and go to Tarangire National Park, where you may marvel at the two-story high termite mounds and the "upside-down" huge baobabs. The picturesque scenery and abundance of birdlife contribute to the Tarangire National Park's undeniably tranquil atmosphere. Furthermore, the African elephant population, which numbers more than 300, is quite astonishing. Adult male African elephants weigh seven tons, making them the largest living land mammals. Other creatures found in Tarangire's savannah include robust African lions, giraffes, toothy warthogs, ostriches, impalas, nimble cheetahs, mongooses, water buffaloes, and red-bottomed baboons. After your game drive, our guide will take you to the Fanaka Campsite, which includes a pool and hot showers. As is customary with each tour, participants are supplied with extensive camping amenities.
A superb breakfast featuring local and organic items will be given at camp, followed by an unforgettable journey to the Serengeti National Park. We will travel the leisurely route to Serengeti, providing an incredible bird's-eye perspective of Ngorongoro Crater. There is a good chance of seeing game on the drive. The infinite golden savanna, juxtaposed with the bright patterns of zebras, lions, and elephants, makes it clear why the Serengeti is one of Africa's Seven Natural Wonders. We will stop for a picnic lunch on the park's most famous kopje (a small elevation in a normally flat area), which will allow tourists to see the immensity of the Serengeti from above. We will continue into the Serengeti for a leisurely game drive, where you will most likely see herds of giraffes, elephants, and zebras. You will spend the night at the Nyani (Baboon) Serengeti Camp, falling asleep to the sounds of zebra, lions, and gazelles.
The day will begin in the center of the majestic Serengeti. After a nourishing breakfast, we will continue our journey into the plains. Since we have a full day of game driving, you will likely view hundreds of the diverse animals Kili Step 2 Safaris find their home within the Serengeti’s endless plains. This day will likely offer sightings of the African mammals Kili Step 2 Safaris make the park famous- lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, and water buffalo, all within a few feet of the jeep. Visitors will also get the opportunity to see some of the park's lesser-known but equally magnificent creatures, such as elands, hyenas, gazelles, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, and antelope. Depending on the time of year, guests will have the opportunity to see thousands of zebra and wildebeest on their Great Migration. The hundreds of bird species, both native and migrating from the Eurasion region, are a special treat for birdwatchers. Guests will have a fresh and delicious dinner at our campsite in Seronera, which is another popular area for wildlife viewing.
Today is our last wildlife drive in the Serengeti before we head to Ngorongoro Crater. We will spend the night in Simba Camp, which is positioned on the rim of the crater and is great for viewing the beautiful sunset over the savannah within the caldera. After watching the sunset, guests can have a delicious dinner prepared fresh by our friendly kitchen.
After an early breakfast, we travel from the Serengeti and head to the Ngorongoro Crater. This will take approximately 2.5 to 3 hours. Around mid-morning, we descend to the crater floor for a 5-hour game drive. Expect to witness lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, and a variety of birds. Birds spotted here include eagles, vultures, and flamingos at Crater Lake, as well as storks, bats, gigantic vultures, sacred ibis, kori bustards, blacksmith plovers, long-necked herons, and cattle eagles. We will enjoy a picnic lunch at the spectacular Hippo pool before continuing on game drives to the top exit of the crater. The day will end with a 1.5 to 2-hour journey to your lodging in Karatu. A freshly prepared, scrumptious dinner is kept ready for you at your chosen lodging. All of these safari days will leave you exhausted, so getting some rest is crucial. The next day, you'll start the final stage of your safari.
We leave the hotel at 8:30 a.m., after breakfast, and drive to Manyara National Park with packed lunch boxes. Manyara Gate will be roughly a 30-minute drive away. Once we get at the park, we begin game drives. As you reach the national park, rich forests of Acacia and Mahogany trees begin to set the tone for what lies ahead. The game drive will last until around 5:00 PM, with a short break for a picnic lunch. During the wildlife drive, look out for buffaloes, giraffes, impalas, baboons, and blue monkeys. The tree climbing lions are another attraction in Lake Manyara National Park, but finding them is difficult. During the right season, millions of flamingos swarm to the shoreline, turning everything pink. After the game drive, you will return to your hotel in Arusha by 6:00 PM. This concludes the tour. This day's optional add-on tours include 1.5 hours of hiking in the Rift Valley ($35 per client) and 2.5 hours of canoeing at Lake Manyara ($76 per person). Hotel accommodations in Arusha can be booked at an additional fee.
